Sahar is passionate about fusing art and engineering together to create beautiful and immersive guest experiences.

She is currently a Technical Director at Disney Television Animation where she works on the 3D animation pipeline across characters, props, lighting, effects, scripting, and more to amplify artistic vision for beloved Disney television shows. Sahar was previously a specialized Character Technical Director (Technical Animator and CFX) at Walt Disney Animation Studios. Her daily life consisted of cloth and hair simulation, tailoring, rigging, technical animation, and tool creation to bring the characters of the beloved animated Disney films to life! Previously, Sahar has also worked as an animatronics Imagineer at Walt Disney Imagineering.
 

Sahar graduated with her masters in Entertainment Technology from Carnegie Mellon University with a focus on technical art and computer graphics. She also hold a dual computer science engineering and digital arts degree with double art minors in Studio Arts and Fine Arts from the University of Florida.

Outside of work, Sahar enjoys hanging out with her pet corgi, crocheting, drawing, reading, writing, video games, and hiking the mountains of Los Angeles.
