Technical Artist & CG Generalist (Assets, VFX, Compositing, Characters, Pipeline)
Multidisciplinary artist supporting asset development, character workflows, rendering, and compositing across production pipelines

Hi, I’m Sahar! I’m passionate about blending art and engineering to create immersive experiences that foster meaning and connection.

With 6 years of experience at The Walt Disney Company, I most recently worked as a Technical Director (VFX Artist / Animator) at Disney Television Animation, supporting the 3D animation pipeline across characters, props, lighting, effects, and compositing. During this time, I worked extensively with Nuke-based workflows to bring shots to final delivery and support visual storytelling. I also served as a Character Technical Director (Technical Animator / CFX) at Walt Disney Animation Studios, where I focused on cloth and hair simulation, tailoring, rigging, technical animation, and tool development for animated feature films. Earlier in my career, I worked as an Imagineer at Walt Disney Imagineering, contributing to animatronics, robotics rigging, production design, and software-driven show systems for immersive experiences in Disney theme parks around the world.

I hold a Master’s degree in Entertainment Technology from Carnegie Mellon University, with a focus on technical art and computer graphics, and a Bachelor of Science in DAS Engineering - a dual degree in computer science engineering and digital arts - from the University of Florida.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my corgi, crocheting, running, drawing, reading, writing, playing video games, building LEGO sets and puzzles, and hiking around Los Angeles.
